  • Raptors Claim 2017 NJCAA DIII Region XX/ District H Women’s Soccer Championship; Program’s First Back-to-Back Region XX Titles Under Head Coach Phil Nana

    Against all the odds, the unranked Montgomery College Raptors women's soccer team (7-7) claimed the 2017 NJCAA DIII Region XX Championship this past weekend at Anne Arundel Community College. The Raptors defended their Region XX Title by defeating the higher seed Howard CC Dragons (9-5-1) by a score of 5-1 in the semifinal and Anne Arundel CC Riverhawks (9-5-1) 3-1 in the final to win the program’s first back-to-back Region XX/District H Title under Head Coach Phil Nana.
  • Raptors Women’s Soccer Ends Season Winning Two Out of the Last Three

    The Raptors women’s soccer team ended the season with two big wins over Potomac State College 6-0 and Anne Arundel CC 3-2. On October 10th MC went on the road to West Virginia and put up six straights goals on Potomac State as freshman goalkeeper Delmy Perez recorded her second shutout of the season. Gabriella Fernandez led the way in scoring for Montgomery as she recorded her first hat trick of the season with goals coming in the 2nd minute, 42nd minute, and 65th minute of the game. Viviana Rodriguez (19’) contributed a goal and three assists in the match as teammates Gaelin Hirabayashi (48’) and Yasurys Peralta (84’) each added a goal of their own in the 6-0 shutout victory over Potomac state.
  • Women’s Soccer Looks to Bounce Back to Close Out Regular Season Strong

    Sophomore Appreciation Day will be held on October 13th at 2:00 p.m. against AACC at the Maryland SoccerPlex. The team's final game of the regular season will be against Howard Community College on the road on October 17th at 2:00 pm before the Raptors enter postseason play. 
  • Women's Soccer Players Statistically Ranked in MDJUCO

    The MC Raptors women's soccer team is third in the MDJUCO Conference. MC freshman forward Ifeoma Aghanenu is tied for seventh for most goals scored with eight and tied for seventh for most points with 16 in the MDJUCO thus far this season while freshman teammate Nicole Godoy is tied for seventh in assist with six.
  • Nationally Ranked Women's Soccer Team is Holding Team Tryouts

    Women's soccer summer open play will be June 20th—July 27th Tuesdays & Thursdays from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. on the Rockville Campus on the lower field behind the Welcome Center. Team tryouts will be held August 7th -11th, session #1 is from 8:00 a.m.-10:00 a.m. & session #2 is from 12:00 p.m.-2:00 p.m. on the Rockville Campus on the lower field. All tryout sessions are mandatory. Everyone trying out must have a current physical and all MC forms filled out and turned in prior to tryouts.
