The restaurant was hosting a "McEducator Night," where a portion of sales during a designated two-hour period supported a local PTA fundraiser. According to White, the Raptors initially hesitated to enter due to the busy atmosphere, but ultimately decided to come in and place a large group order.

The team completed their order with just 14 seconds remaining before the fundraiser ended—allowing their purchase to count toward the PTA donation effort.
