Germantown, MD - The Montgomery College baseball team delivered a dominant offensive performance, sweeping a doubleheader against the Community College of Allegheny County with a combined 34 runs on the day.

Game 1: Raptors 16, CCAC 3

Montgomery set the tone early, scoring 16 runs on nine hits while drawing six walks and capitalizing on timely hitting.

Shakir Rodriguez-Muhammad led the offense with 4 RBIs on two hits, while Jackson Freeman added 3 RBIs and scored three runs. Eromosele Okojie also drove in four runs as the Raptors produced throughout the lineup.

On the mound, Daerek Sawyer earned the win (6-1), going six strong innings and allowing just three runs while striking out four.

After falling behind early, Montgomery answered with a six-run fourth inning and continued to pour on runs late, including a 10-run sixth inning to break the game open.

Luke Brunner earned the win in relief, striking out seven over 2.2 innings, while the Raptors showed resilience by overcoming an early deficit.
