Raptors Fall on the Road to Fayetteville Technical CC
FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – The Montgomery College Raptors battled through a hard-fought matchup on Saturday afternoon but ultimately fell 67–44 to Fayetteville Technical Community College. Despite a strong third-quarter surge, the Raptors were unable to overcome the Trojans' late-game push.
MC struggled to find early offensive rhythm, trailing 14–8 after the first quarter. The defense tightened in the second, holding Fayetteville Tech to just nine points, sending the Raptors into halftime down 23–18. Montgomery College delivered its strongest offensive performance in the third quarter, putting up 19 points behind increased tempo and improved ball movement. However, the Trojans responded with a dominant fourth quarter, outscoring MC 25–7 to seal the win.

The Raptors now return home as they prepare to open their home schedule with the annual Tip-Off Tournament this weekend on the Rockville campus. The event marks the first chance for fans to see the 2025–26 squad on their home floor.
