Raptors Dominate Second Half in 66–33 Road Victory
Cumberland, MD - The Montgomery College women's basketball team delivered a commanding performance on Monday night, pulling away for a 66–33 win over Allegany College of Maryland.
After a tight opening quarter that saw Allegany take a 9–8 edge, the Raptors flipped the momentum in the second period. Montgomery outscored the Trojans 16–7 in the second quarter and continued to apply pressure in the third before erupting for 27 points in the fourth to seal the decisive road victory.
Montgomery's defensive intensity set the tone, holding Allegany to just 24 points over the final three quarters while forcing consistent turnovers and limiting clean scoring opportunities.
Sanai Massenburg led the balanced offensive attack with 16 points and 10 rebounds for a double-double effort. Imani Dennis added 14 points and five steals, while Arianna Sisk controlled the glass with a dominant 15-rebound performance to go along with 11 points.
The Raptors finished strong down the stretch, using a 27-point fourth quarter to turn a comfortable lead into a statement win.
