Raptors Sweep Tri-Match at College of Southern Maryland

Montgomery College Volleyball continued its impressive run through the 2025 season with two dominant victories in a tri-match hosted by the College of Southern Maryland on Saturday. The Raptors swept both matches without dropping a set, defeating the host team, College of Southern Maryland, and Allegany College of Maryland.
Game 1: Montgomery College 3, College of Southern Maryland 0
Set Scores: 25-16, 25-15, 25-12
In the opening match of the day, Montgomery (12-3, 6-0 MD JUCO at the time) overpowered Southern Maryland (7-7, 4-1) with a decisive 3-0 victory. The Raptors set the tone early with aggressive serving and steady defensive play, limiting the Hawks' offensive rhythm throughout the match. The win handed Southern Maryland their first conference loss of the season.
Game 2: Montgomery College 3, Allegany College of Maryland 0
Set Scores: 25-20, 25-16, 25-13
Montgomery kept its momentum rolling in the second match, dispatching Allegany College in straight sets. The Raptors' depth and consistency proved too much for Allegany, as Montgomery pulled away in each set with disciplined execution and strong net play.
